The last call

1. O sinner, heed the Spirit�s voice,
   Ere mercy�s day is past;
   Oh, while He�s pleading make thy choice,
   This call may be His last.

2. Thy conscience, once so keen to feel
   That voice sent to reprove,
   No more is stirred at God�s appeal
   To seek His pard�ning love.
3. Remember, soul, the hour draws nigh
   When you will call in vain;
   Ah, hopeless then will be thy cry,
   Thy doom, eternal pain.
4. Then seek Him while He may be found,
   And call Him while He�s near,
   Lest, slighted, grieved, He leave thee bound,
   And sealed in darkness drear.
