The glory of heaven

1. After the shadows have passed away,
   From my life forever,
   When I have entered the land of day,
   Just beyond the river;
   Then with what joy my heart will thrill,
   Eager His face to see;
   Glory and peace my soul will fill,
   Glory enough for me.

     Seeing the Savior who made me free,

     Close by His precious side to stay
     All through eternity,

2. Resting at last on that golden shore,
   Free from sin and sadness,
   Weakness of earth will be mine no more,
   Serving Him with gladness;
   If I may gain His blessed smile,
   Rich my reward will be,
   That will be glory all the while,

3. With my beloved ones gone before,
   What a glorious meeting;
   Safe in His presence to part no more,
   Heaven�s joy completing;
   Even while here on earth I wait,
   Strengthened my soul will be,
   As I behold that glory great,
