Then The Lord Saw His Men
Then the Lord saw his men were a numerous sight.
He said send home all men who are scared of the fight,
Off they went all
on home leaving only a few.
Men would claim that their might had saved them, this God knew.
Again Gideon was told to cut the size down.
Those who drank on
their knees would be sent back to town.
Now three hundred remained and God said that would do,
To show victory was his to give this man knew.
But now Gideon
feared all the Midean men.
So the Lord sent him down to their camps to here when
His great God gave the Mideans into his hands.
Then he woke up his men giving torches and plans.
They surrounded the camp smashing jars, blowing horns.
And their torches shone out and the Midean warns
“It is Gideon come from his God to destroy.”
And they fled for their lives and God’s men filled with joy.
