The Two Spies Sent From God
The two spies that were sent from God
She brought into her house.
They lay there, breathing silently
Hid quiet, like a mouse.
She got a message from the king
Telling her what to do,
With the spies who
entrusted her
With their lives, mission too.
She told the king the men had left;
That they had left the town.
She asked the men to spare her life,
Their names are known around.
They had her tie a scarlet rope,
Outside her house; that way
As thanks for her great bravery
She would not die that day.
Jesus was brave when on the cross,
He did not fear his death.
Each day he lived, he lived for us
Even at his last breath.
