Sing songs of thanks, works of the Lord,
Sustained in Him alone.
Thanks for the life that round us thrives,
Each flower, bough, and stone.
Give thanks for lofty mountain heights,
And fruitful grounds below.
All waters, crystal
streams of light,
The wind, the rain, and snow.
Give thanks for light: the moon’s soft beams,
And sunshine set ablaze.
The night sky, full of glowing lights,
And day’s bright brilliant rays.
For friends and family to love,
All who he draws us near,
Both they who we are yet to meet,
And those already dear.
Sing songs of thanks, works of the Lord
To Whom all praise
belongs.
And may we live our daily lives,
As sweet and praiseful songs.
