He Asks for Gifts From God Alone
The king of heaven let us praise,
He gives the weak the power of days.
Who is on earth the wisest man?
Let us sing glory through out the land.
How great is it that we so low;
Have gifts so strong that break the bow.
Sing
glory, praise, O Lord, he reigns,
In truth and spirit he shall not be vain.
He asks for gifts from God alone,
To take and keep them as He’s shown.
Let him be wise to all God’s men,
To show praise time and time again.
Such dying words do not remain,
Of this wonderful
king who reigned.
He lived a life of holy display,
He left his words for us today.
