Let us see the king of the Jews,
To celebrate his birth.
Let us bring our new king fine gifts;
Gold, frankincense, and myrr.

‘Who is this great mysterious child.
This wondrous sacrament?”
Whom so much gather round to see
And at his sight lament.

“Glory to God in the highest!”
Said the angels on high.
“Peace on earth goodwill to men!”
Is their heavenly cry.
