God’s rules were set in place to keep
Us walking in His way.
And likewise parents learn from Him
The things they should portray.

The Ruler over all commands
His sons, like Christ, to love.
If they succeed in doing this
The angels dance above.

His mercy glistens down to earth;
It strikes those who obey.
How awesome is the Lord our God
Who loves us ev’ry day.
