My Peace I Give To You

When we have problems
That seem to shake our lives,
When we are worried
Distraught and overwhelmed,
We must remember
The words of Jesus Christ:
Jesus our Prince of Peace,
Jesus our Lord:

Chorus: “My peace I give to you;
My peace I leave with you.
Don’t let your hearts be distressed.
Don’t be afraid.
My peace I give to you;
My peace I leave with you.
Now serve each other well
And live in love.”

Though we face troubles
Our God is by our side.
In each dilemma
He holds us in His hand.
We have His promise,
His blessed covenant.
We hear these precious words
From Christ our Lord:
